The village provides residents a full continuum of support, from independent living though to hospital level care. Construction of the seven multilevel buildings is currently underway and the project is expected to be completed in 2025. Residential blocks include 1-, 2- and 3-bedroom apartments, which are serviced by a number of communal lounges, a café, bar, theatre and pool facilities. The separate care building incorporates assisted living, hospital, and dementia care facilities.
Torque IP’s design scope included a Category 6A F/UTP structured cabling system, with OS2 optical fibre backbones; DAS to support 3G/4G mobile delivery; a centralised MATV system supporting UHF and Satellite services; Sitewide access control and CCTV systems, including three automated site entry gates; a centralised AV solution covering the lounges, theatre and café/bar areas; Chorus UFB services to all apartments; an Austco nurse call system incorporating wired and RF call points and a dementia monitoring system.
